- Invest in a diverse workforce and invest in the future success of your business As part of its Future Edge initiative, Capital One is investing in partnerships with organizations like Year Up that give individuals the digital and technical skillset they need to succeed in the workforce – and rethinking internships in the process.
- Education Resource Strategies and Oakland Achieves Release Report on Student Need, Spending and Resource Use Informing Equity, an Education Resource Strategies (ERS) study commissioned by the Oakland Achieves Partnership, examines data for the 2014-15 school year from district-run and charter schools in Oakland across three key dimensions: student need, resource levels, and resource use.
- Making Educator Professional Learning Personalized and Competency-Based through Micro-Credentials What are strategies to consider for building educator capacity? Systems change is a heavy lift under any circumstance, but educators are best positioned to lead the way. We will examine one way that innovative educators are building the capacity to transform education ‒ using micro-credentials to develop and validate the knowledge, skills and abilities of educators.
- Beyond Teacher Diversity The Chicago branch of Educators for Excellence (E4E), a nationwide organization that promotes educator advocacy and leadership development, has partnered its teacher diversity working group with the district to push forward a principal preparation plan that will include diversity education.
